The Eternal Word Became Man

Before anything ever existed—the visible and the invisible or mortal beings and heavenly hosts—the Word was already there. The Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1; Colossians 1:16).
Through Him, all things were created, and without Him, nothing came into existence.

Yet when humanity fell and became separated from its Creator, God did not abandon His masterpiece. Instead, in His infinite wisdom and boundless love, He chose a path only the Almighty could take: the Eternal Word took on flesh.

He did not come as merely an angel, a prophet, or a messenger.
God Himself became Man.
Jesus Christ—fully God and fully Man—entered our world to offer His own sinless life as the perfect and final atoning sacrifice. He came to restore what sin shattered, to bridge the gulf that separated humanity from its Maker.

Through His sacrifice, the door back to God was opened forever.

Now, whoever believes in Him receives forgiveness, restoration, and eternal life (John 3:16).
The very God who spoke galaxies into being stepped into time, walked among us, and gave Himself for us.

This is the greatest mystery of love:
The Eternal became human… so that humans could once again be united with God.
