Often in our search for God or for the Holy Spirit, we look outward and forget to look within—where He already lives and where His presence can be truly felt. Yet Scripture reminds us that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and God Himself has chosen to make His home in us. This also helps us understand the beautiful truth of the Triune God—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—dwelling with and within His people.
Since our individual bodies are His dwelling place, we do not have to strive endlessly to find Him in distant places or extraordinary moments. He is nearer than our breath and closer than our very thoughts. The true journey is not always outward, but inward—toward a daily awareness of His indwelling presence, His gentle guidance, and His quiet work in our hearts.
In moments of weakness or uncertainty, let us hold firmly to His sure promise: “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). You are never alone—God abides in you always. Let us continue trusting in His unfailing faithfulness, for He will never disappoint nor fail us. Amen.
