Saying Goodbye to your dream
Do we ever stop to think that our dreams are not necessarily God's divine plan for our lives?
So we plan, prepare and execute. For a time, everything is working out. Things are looking up but somewhere along the way, the wheel begins to clog. It doesn't turn smoothly anymore.
We try to get it fixed, we send for the repair man, we even purchase a new set of wheels, but still the locomotive won't move. It appears to be stuck.
We pull out all stops to get it working again but there's no change. It remains static. Immobile. Confusion, dismay and anger. We look for someone or something to blame. The wheel must work at all costs!
The big dream must come to fruition. But after a long, hard struggle that avails nothing but frustration, we begin to take a closer look inwardly.
As we seek God during this unexpectedly difficult time in life, we begin to understand the true implication of Jeremiah 29:V11 -14
God had to get our attention...by jamming the locomotive. His Will must prevail...Good thoughts, good plans, hope and a rewarding future in Christ Jesus.
That's His plan. So as we chase our dreams, we need to prayerfully seek God's Will in the whole matter so we do not run into an unmovable roadblock.
Not my Will but God's Will.
Commit your plans unto the Lord and He shall direct your paths.
